Kenley’s Care Packages

Every year, in honor of Kenley’s birthday, we put together care packages that we donate to the hospital system she was born at. The last years we have been able to supply over 100 care packages, amongst many other items for loss parents, and donations to other organizations that are close to our heart. It is my hope that we can continue making an impact on these parents lives for many years to come.

If you are interested in knitting or crocheting items for donation, please reach out to me through here, or through my IG!

Our current goal for donation each year is 40 care packages. Each care package has been carefully planned out and contains items that I wish we would have received in the hospital when we lost Kenley.

Each package will include:

  • Tissues
  • Chapstick
  • Lotion
  • A notebook and pen
  • A willow tree figurine for the family to display
  • The book “Memories too few”
  • The book “You are the Mother of all Mothers”
  • The book “Wherever you are my love will find you”
  • A packet of forget me not seeds
  • A candle to burn in memory of their child

We are also planning to donate crocheted/knitted hats (micro preemie-newborn sizes), blankets, and angel bunting for early losses.

If you’re looking to honor her memory with us, I ask you to donate to her care packages.

I hope to make this a yearly donation for her birthday as a way to honor her and keep her memory alive, and help other grieving families.

Every year it’s extremely hard for us to “shop” for things that will go to grieving parents, but I cannot think of anyone better to help other grieving parents than another grieving parent. It broke my heart to add all of these items the donation list, but I know that they will bring comfort to these parent’s hearts during the darkest time of their lives.

**ALL DONATIONS WILL GO TOWARD CARE PACKAGES**
